Tip of the

As an amateur rider you must balance work, family, social-life, and finances along with quality time with your horse, training and competing. You likely feel as though you need more than 24 hours in a day. While the twenty-four hour rule won’t change, how you navigate your riding world with other life realities could certainly change and improve with time dedicated to your mental game.

A busy life like yours demands that you get the most out of each training and competitive experience. Sometimes it is that very pressure that can get in the way of the quality of your training and performance. For example, you may find yourself in a lesson thinking about work, worrying about getting the grocery shopping done, or wondering how you will pay for the competition next week. You may find that you are angry with yourself for how long it takes you to learn a new skill or that you feel guilty about time away from your family.

Wouldn’t it be nice to feel balanced in your multiple roles, to be in the moment and to learn skills more quickly and with less frustration? Mental performance coaching will help you make the most of each moment both on and off your horse. By removing mental barriers and channeling your thoughts and emotions effectively, you can get the most out of each lesson and competition by truly focusing and hearing your trainer, translating your trainer’s directions into skillful action, communicating more effectively with your horse, quieting your worries, optimizing your performance and having fun doing it!

Try us out for free to see if mental performance coaching can help you make the most of your riding.
